Hope Pavilion Inc. is a nonprofit organization begun in 2007 in Hastings,FL, by members of the Coleman family. The family took a strong interest in the well being of children and sought opportunities to influence their development in the community in which they lived. The Coleman family has had a strong commitment to the betterment of the Hastings community through community activism, philanthropic endeavors as well as mentoring of many teens and young adults in the community. Hope Pavilion was founded on a dream and an aspiration of Janice Coleman, who is herself, a family caretaker of two adolescent children. In this christian based group home, Janice hoped to be able to share God's love for children with those who had experienced distressed family situations, neglect or abandonment and provide guidance and hope to these children. Hope Pavilion currently provides care to male children; however, current plans include expansion of care to include female children, ages 13 through 17. See more of Janice Coleman's story here.
